Finance the construction of a photovoltaic power plant in Haute-Vienne
The Saint-Priest project is a 3.8 MWp ground-mounted photovoltaic power plant under construction on the site of a former reclaimed landfill near the commune of Saint-Priest-Taurion, in Haute-Vienne (87). Winner of a call for tenders from the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), the project is under construction and benefits from a 20-year guaranteed electricity sale tariff from the CRE.
A pioneer in the construction and operation of photovoltaic power plants, Urbasolar was founded in 2006 in Montpellier and now operates over 750 solar plants. As the French leader in responding to CRE tenders, the company aims to raise €381,000 through this fundraising in the form of simple bonds with a 6.5% interest rate over 4 years .
The offer
Finance the construction of a photovoltaic power plant in Saint-Priest-Taurion
Urbasolar offers an investment opportunity in financing a 3.8 MWp photovoltaic power plant in Haute-Vienne. By supporting this project, you directly contribute to the energy transition of the region : the project is under construction, and renewable energy will soon be produced on a former municipal landfill thanks to solar power.
OBJECTIVE
The crowdfunding campaign for the Saint-Priest project aims to raise €381,000 . The company offers you an investment in the form of simple bonds, with an interest rate of 6.5% over 4 years .
USE OF FUNDS
These funds will be used by the project developer to finance the construction of the photovoltaic installation .
REPAYMENT
The repayment of the bonds will be made through the revenues generated by the project, supplemented by an equity contribution from the project developer if necessary.
Regarding interest payments, these will be made annually on January 31st and on the Maturity Date. The first payment will take place on January 31, 2027.
SECURITY
Total Energies Invest has not retained any security on this project, considering the project structure: under construction, with a secure tariff for 20 years through the CRE tender, and the structure of the project developer.

The project
The photovoltaic power plant located in Saint-Priest-Taurion, Haute-Vienne, will cover nearly 5 hectares of an old landfill (ISDI) . This project aims to rehabilitate a degraded and polluted site by restoring its value through the installation of solar panels and the production of green electricity.
Thanks to the environmental studies conducted during the development phase, areas with high ecological stakes will be avoided within the solar park’s footprint, and measures will be implemented to enhance the existing biodiversity .
The solar power plant, developed and built by Urbasolar, will benefit from the technical expertise and know-how of the group, which currently operates over 750 power plants in France and internationally. The construction permit has been obtained and all appeals have been exhausted, and the environmental studies conducted have shown favorable results for the realization of the park.
A bright future awaits the Saint-Priest photovoltaic power plant, as it has also secured a 20-year electricity sales tariff from the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) .
With a capacity of 3.8 MWp, the plant is expected to produce enough electricity for over 1,900 people annually, powered solely by the sun .
💡 Did you know?
The P50 and P90 outputs refer to the probability that the expected output will be achieved over the year. Indeed, photovoltaic production is directly linked to weather conditions and is therefore subject to day-to-day and year-to-year variations.
- The P50 output corresponds to a 50% probability of achieving the expected output. It is therefore optimistic, as it is only reached, on average, once every two years.
- Similarly, the P90 output has a 90% probability of being achieved, making it more conservative.

Our analysis
Risk overview
Refinancing risk
Credit risk related to the company's ability to refinance and meet its debt obligations.
Mitigation methods
The repayment strategy relies on the project’s ability to generate sufficient cash flow. Since the sale of electricity is secured for the long term at a fixed rate for 20 years under the CRE’s tender process, this will facilitate the repayment. In the event of insufficient cash flow during the first few years, the project developer will refinance the project’s equity through the shareholder’s current account.
