Finance the construction of 56 photovoltaic power plants

The Azolis Bridge project, developed by Azolis , involves the construction of a portfolio of 56 rooftop photovoltaic power plants located in metropolitan France.

This installation will contribute to the energy transition and the deployment of renewable energies across the territory.

The company Azolis aims to raise up to €2,000,000 for this first phase, which will be directly used for the construction of this portfolio of power plants.

All the power plants are ready-to-build and hold an S21 tariff for the resale of their electricity.

The project

What will your investment fund?

The Azolis Bridge operation is a portfolio of 56 ready-to-build rooftop photovoltaic projects in metropolitan France, with a total capacity of 20.5 MWp. Land agreements, building permits, grid connections, and feed-in tariffs have been secured.

Once operational, this portfolio will generate 22,816.5 MWh of electricity per year, equivalent to the annual consumption of 10,200 French people. It will also prevent the emission of nearly 5,430 tonnes of CO₂ annually.

Risk overview

Construction risks

CAPEX increase

Risk of higher construction costs due to rising raw material prices

Mitigation methods

This fundraising round is intended to finance the construction of the Azolis Développement 4 project portfolio, pending the securing of long-term bank debt. Given the nature of rooftop solar projects, this risk is limited. The projects are mainly installed on barns and agricultural sheds, with a smaller proportion installed on residential or industrial buildings. The construction of the building is sometimes borne by Azolis, in which case the cost is deducted from the rent payable.

Refinancing risk

Refinancing

Credit risk related to the company's ability to refinance and meet its debt obligations.

Mitigation methods

Azolis is currently seeking long-term financing for its Azolis Développement 4 portfolio. Given the maturity of the portfolio, this financing is expected to be secured shortly, with an estimated date of around the first half of 2027.

Market risk

Competition

Risk related to being in a competitive market where new players enter the competition each year

Mitigation methods

Azolis is a growing independent French company operating in the rooftop solar project sector. The company also holds a minority stake in Transi’Sun, a company developing ground-mounted solar projects. Azolis has a pipeline of projects under development for its own account totalling over 120 MWp, and nearly 27 MWp of RTB projects or projects under construction. In addition, 8 MWp of projects have already been commissioned within the Azolis Développement 1 portfolio.
